Watercolor is a tough medium, because while it is loose, it also does a lot of the work as it spreads through the fibers of the paper. It is the artist who has to make intuitive choices of what you can and cannot control. Victoria Grogan is a talented artist that has a wonderful range in this medium. She balances the usage of warm and cool normally putting the warm colors in the middle while still managing not to overwork the painting, leaving some white spaces so it still breaths.
